sarah experienced her first mother's day celebration with us yesterday, papa brought the family out to for some shopping at vivo city, followed by dinner.
she was in a good mood, constantly making monkey faces while we were trying to take photos with her.
this is how expressive she can be, hundreds of expressions within seconds.
this was taken while we were making our way to the cable car station. upon reaching vivo city, papa suddenly suggested taking the glass bottom cable car for fun and so the family went to join in the queue for tickets at harbourfront tower.
heres papa acting cool while waiting in the queue for the tickets
thankfully, even though there was quite a long queue at the counter, we didnt have to wait that long to get onto the cable car. However, the glass bottom cable car turns out to be nothing be a overhyped gimmick, not much of a difference from the normal cable car, we could bearly see a thing from the floor board as the cabin was so squeezy plus the glass bottom itself had to many scratches to allow us to have a clear view.
over the sentosa IR site.
the trip was an enjoyable one as the view was good, however, they should install an aircon in the cabin to make the trip more comfortable especially on hot days like this. sarah's head was dripping with beads of sweat midway through the journey. frankly speaking, we couldnt wait to get off the cable car when we finally made the round trip.
after the ride, we made our way to vivo city, walked around the baby clothes stores and after searching high and low, we managed to find a dress for sarah to wear on her birthday! we both like the design and the fabric of the dress very much and decided to buy it even though its was quite expensive.
as the branch at vivo did not carry the size that we wanted, we had to make our way to the great world city outlet to make the purchase. after which, we proceeded to nirai kanai for some okinawan dinner.
over at nirai kanai....
sarah has developed this bad habit of wanting food whenever we eat, she enjoys eating way to much and doesnt know when to stop. when she doesnt get food when we are eating, she will be yelling away loudly.
looking happy after mummy gave her some biscuits.
heres our dinner spread, although the quantity of the food doesn't look too much, our stomachs were near to full stretch by the time we left the restaurant.
