what's cooking?

a sunday lunch at great granny's.

sarah was being granted the freedom of the hall area, which she happily accepted and soon began her rounds, from the hall to the room and back to the hall and back to the room and back to the hall and on and on and on......

her favourite gesture, friend kiss or butterfly kiss. upon hearing 'say hello' or ' say 'good bye', she would launch a thousand of such kisses.

after conquering the hall, she's off the the kitchen for some 'cooking lesson'

this cabbage dish that epi was cooking is yummy, crispy yet not raw or too dry. perfect!

loitering at lift lobby

some shots of her walking round and round the lift lobby while we were making our way to great granny's for sunday lunch

Why so serious?

Upsized.

our little girl has grown up, she can no longer fit into the rear facing car seat. so we got her an upsized, she seems happy about it as now she gets the best view.

she is looking very boyish of late, i think is the hair.

dunk her all the way!

Enter the dragon

one day, while on the way back from marketing, mama saw this ancient dragon theme playground, since then she could not get it out of her mind. this playground was already around during our childhood days, many similar ones have already been demolished and replaced with other modern designs. today mama brought sarah to meet the 'dragon' before its extinction.

Second Anniversary

just celebrated our second wedding anniversary, our first with sarah tagging along

she walked like she had been invited to walk on the red carpet.

these days, she is really enjoying her new found independence and mobility, she was straying away from us, so we said 'bye' to her, in an attempt to scare her so that she would hurriedly walk back towards us, instead, she stood from afar and waved 'bye'

refusing to hold mama's hand, preferring to wander on her own to where ever she fancied

look how steady her walking is, hope she doesn't run soon, its going to get tiring!

the sky was overcast, but luckily it didn't rain on us.

leading the way...she's the boss

the whole place exudes a rustic charm, idyllic anglers fishing at the end of pier, the unassuming old boat shed and lazy boats docked at the marina.

can be seen from this picture that sarah has gotten chubbier! her eyes were slightly swollen as she had been crying badly. she was made to go through the cold turkey treatment for the weaning from her pacifier. after two days, we thought we had succeeded in getting rid of her habit. on sunday, she refused to sleep all day and would cry the minute we made her lay down, by evening we had no choice but to pop in the pacifier, she was knocked out in less than 5 mins. seems like the plan has to be shelved for the moment.

she gets over-excited whenever there is food.

she looks as if she is sucking from the straw, but sadly she has yet to develop that skill yet. she only knows how to bite the straw and pretend to look like she is sucking from it.

our cheeky girl is growing up so fast, she is morphing into a toddler before us, we are going to miss her baby stage. she is learning so much everyday, her latest talent is imitation, she saw mama coughing at the dinner table, and gave one cheeky smile before she started ' coughing' away as well. she is such a joy.

Farewell lunch for Anna

attended a farewell lunch held for anna last saturday.

brought little sarah downstairs for a warm up walk before the lunch.

sarah throwing a tantrum after being pulled away from walking near the kerb side.
as usual, our princess gets to eat first. doing an inspection on the cutlery that the restaurant has prepared for her, she seems satisfied.
nothing beats home cook food, i guess.
taking a picture with anna, getting sarah to look into the lens is an enormous challenge.
our lunch spread, we ate so much that both of us skipped dinner later that day!
caught a snapshot of her with her favourite snack, cheese stick. it kept her quiet and occupied so that we could enjoy our lunch.
